BETWEEN THE PAPER AND A HARD DESK

Board Exams come and go. Parents and teachers accuse students of getting less marks and wrongdoings, but nobody talks of how to cure the malaise. How can the student be empowered?  Is getting good marks in a Board Exam are a two-minute exercise like making noodles? What are needed are drastic academic reforms.

If a student is not scoring good marks in exam it does not mean that he/she is not clever, it depends on the atmosphere in which he/she is writing the paper, I mean the school, the supervisor, surrounding fellow students and don’t forget the extreme heat of March. It is not the student to blame in fact it is the system in which we all live, we have allowed certain people to create such system for us and now our children are paying the penalty for such gargantuan error. The student in fact is in need of emotional help from both parents and teachers, and I am very sorry to say that we are not providing them this vital support.

So what if a student is not getting 90% or so, does it mean that he/she is not getting admission in Science stream, I don’t think so.....? Marks never decide ones fate. No one can come in your way once you decide to go in a certain science stream. Don’t worry about marks, a penny less or a penny more does not make a difference, in the end it is all talent and ability and presence of mind. There are thousands of self proclaim so called talented people out there without and ability to earn good money they simply rely on their parents business, you are not one of them, tell the world in loud voice that I am coming and your present dumb struck system will not hold my talents or guts,  It is my talent which will surely find the way, don’t worry about the present chaos, someday somebody will  change it but at present you are in the middle of a roller coaster ride, hold tight, take deep breath, it is your life they are doodling with, show them the power you posses. You are the master of your own destiny, and the king of your own kingdom. FIND YOUR CROWN.
