TIME TO EAT DAHI-SAKKAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking back at the year, I could still remember the faces of the student of 10th std. Lots of aspiring students along with the backbenchers and the notorious ones, all of them very eager to cross the barrier of higher education. Decisions were made in the cool living room about the future of a child, the selection of the school, tuition classes, the teacher, management of time, personnel tutor, and god knows what else. The big year started with lots of hula blah. First stop was to complete the course on time so the child could get time to revise the difficult points and make a good preparation for the mid-term exam. It came and went like a flurry leaving behind a Diwali vacation, a short breather, and again the roller coaster ride started only to get at prelims first and second as some schools have, it also went like a rocket, next the focus was on Board receipt and as I am writing this it might have come in the school or already given to the student, the location where they will go and appear for the big day.

Finally, the month of March is here, all set and rocking for the High Voltage drama to be followed later this month. Parents running along with their ward to find the school in which the seat number is given, overnight the Principals, teachers, and even the peon are in demand, confused crowd trying to make a connection with them whatsoever. Dust from the books is blown by the backbenchers and the notorious ones. A variety of books is referred, but one with the micro is most sought after, methods to hide something are discussed and also invented by some of the fertile brains. The humble and honest average student is scared, some of them are very nervous; this is the time when they try something abnormal. Lots of brooding, shouting, quarreling scenes are witnessed by some households, puzzled, outsmarted, and outcast students who don’t know where to go for help or whom to trust.

Then comes the big day to eat Dahi-Sakkar. First Paper, a somewhat nervous student gathered some strength to go inside the examination hall, checked and searched, manages to find the seat number, waiting for the bell to ring and the paper to start. All the strangers around him, almost all the castes, and all the major religion students are present. Within the first fifteen minutes; the face of true SECULAR INDIA is seen. The students, irrespective of their castes, religion, and other differences come together to solve to the most important problem of their life, THE PAPER. Their unity is terrific, what we see is total teamwork, the spirit to come together and fight together for their life and their careers. Remember this is the new generation of our country. These are our new voters; they knew the importance of teamwork. All the members of the team are important, all had some values. These are the lesson they will learn in the examination hall. Later in life this lesson will play an important role when they will get the right to vote. This is the Face of modern INDIA. Let politicians say whatever they want to, this new voter will never let his/her country down. Our moral values and our secular culture are in safe hands. Later in life, some of them will enter the dirty field of politics to clean our country of filth. And when they will come and if I am alive, though very old by then My VOTE will go to them.
